A Few Fixes, A Few Tweaks
A new update for This Is Fine: Maximum Cope is now live!
Developed by Hero Concept and published by Numskull Games, the game now offers a smoother journey through Question Hound’s mind.
First, this update addresses several bugs reported by our community. In addition, it improves performance, movement, controls, and loading times. We also fixed several issues that could cause crashes or leave things stuck.
Here is everything included in the update.
Performance and Stability
The update reduces memory leak issues and performance slowdowns in larger scenes. Moreover, loading times should now be slightly shorter.
We also fixed a crash involving falling objects. This issue could occur during the boss fights in Level 1 and Level 3.
Gameplay and Controls
Movement should now feel more consistent and reliable. Therefore, we adjusted issues related to movement inertia and friction.
The following gameplay and control fixes are also included:
- Bosses can no longer be exploited through an infinite bounce damage loop.
- Coffee Beans can no longer drop into negative values.
- The Shrinktop ability should no longer become stuck after activation.
- Gamepad vibration should no longer remain active indefinitely.

Progress and Presentation
The update fixes achievement and trophy issues related to perks. Meanwhile, unlocked areas should now appear correctly on the minimap.
We also made the following presentation improvements:
- Adjusted overlapping sound effects in certain levels.
- Updated the Kickstarter Backers section in the credits.
- Fixed partially revealed minimap areas.
